]]> This is the east overlook Starved Rock. I really liked the color contrast of these evergreens. I can't believe I was out in that cold taking photo. Amazing my camera didn't freeze up.

A Gathering of Eagles

]]> This was as close as I could get to these guys. Next time, I am taking the Canon EOS 1 film camera with the big lens. I just hate carrying the darn thing. Every year, eagles come to Starved Rock in Utica IL to winter. It is not unusual to see 20 or so of them. When the tempature isn't below 0, I will try again.

Still Hanging On

]]> I took this over the weekend at Starved Rock State Park. I liked how these leaves were still hanging in there after the rest of the tree was bare. I tried to get some eagle shots but they were all sitting way to far away and my zoom wouldn't go that far. That and it was way to cold to spend much time trying. Sub 0 wind chill.........Maybe next visit.

]]> This composition of my lovely daughter will be used as the packaging of the graphicauthority.com made to change bundle. Considering how badly things have been going the last few months, this was a much needed boost. They sent me the proof yesterday and it looks great. used the graphic authority template and added my lovely daughter and the photo I took last summer of the black eyed susans in the park. (flowers are in my archive). These templates are really fun to use and add a nice touch to a photograph. Customers seem to like it. So forgive me for puffing but this just made my day.

Lady Bird

]]> This is my little Grand Puppy Lady. Actually she isn't a puppy any more but she is to me. I used a filter to give this a painted look and printed it on canvas for my daughter. I have been very busy taking care of my friend and doing several graphic design jobs. So sorry not to be around lately. I promise to surf all your wonderful work later today. It is funny how the nose is the formost feature yet you go straight for the eyes.
